I'm guessing that Detroit is getting/has gotten the same kind of waiver that we've gotten as far as "veterans" in a pre-season lineup.

Because looking at the lineup that Detroit has posted for their game in Detroit against Pittsburgh......we're getting guys like JT Compher and Edvinsson and Holl and Jack Campbell....

Yeah, this is really Amerks vs. Griffins.

The Wings are playing two games simultaneously tonight with the split squad. I wonder if they load one team more with their NHLers and if that team faces off with the Pens instead of against the Amerks. I suppose we will wait and see.

I forgot they had 1 pre-season game left. I do wonder how the lack of pre-season play will affect the normal roster as I think they left for Europe on the 23rd. Hopefully Lindy will have them ready to play.

Most of the NHL regulars have had three tuneup games since they played the first two in NA and then the exhibition game in Munich. We'll have to see if that makes a difference just having weeks of practice time instead.
