It's weird, in my head it feels like it should be more who played for Team Canada, and yet it isn't.

19 first rounders on Canada this year, usually a lot of them every year, we had a habit of trading 1st rounders and 2nd rounders for years.

Btw i love what im seeing from Schneider. I can't help think how in a couple years Trouba becomes expendable and if we will then be stuck with him. Our cap situation would be much much better with guys like Schneder, Fox and Lunkdvist on the right side in 2 years.

That and I feel like the Rangers scouting department favored USA and Euro prospects for a long while.

This has always bothered me, especially the euro aspect of it because there is always an adjustment period for European players and also schedule wise with College hockey players, that this franchise wasn't capable of grasping imo. All things equal with a couple different players, I'm taking the Canadian Hockey League player over any other league because its most similar to an nhl season in style, rink size, and environment and you never know what someone from another continent will do in the end.

I actually believe that a future right side of Trouba, Fox & Schneider is more likely. And that has absolutely nothing to do with Trouba's contract.

The big positive about this year for Berard is that he should be able to play again next year, no? If yes, that's going to be huge for his development
Yes, he turned 18 in September. Without looking, I believe out of all of US's players, only Beniers is younger. He should be a shoe in for the squad next year.

So, I know he's just a prospect but honestly Schneider has a chance to be better than Skjei ever was.

I'd be disappointed if he wasn't.

Im not expecting a star, but I do expect a steady 2nd pair level D who can do the heavy lifting and not murder the team's offense.

Give me Brent Seabrook (the good Seabrook) and I'm doing backflips.

id take a Seabrook or a Darnell Nurse type of player in their prime.

"Skip Bayless of HFNYR"

I had assumed everyone had blocked him and he was just wasting his time screaming into the void, but I guess there's still someone who can see his posts...

I love the block function. I didn't use it for 15 years until these 'new kids' made these boards intolerable. It was so bad a few years ago. It's pretty funny I was on here without being signed in and I still see some of those posters. It was the funniest thing, cause you don't see them, and they don't see you when their on the block list, so we haven't seen any of each other's posts for years.

It was one of the most gratifying A/B tests I've ever seen in my life. Super easy to see who the A players are versus the straight up Bitches eh?
