Not gonna even try to spell out his name (guessing he’s from a part of Russia close to the Stans?), but I can see why Devs fans are excited about him.

He’s a bit goofy but you can see the potential.

WOW, i was hard on Schneider last game but the game he had today was about as close to a perfect game you could ask for! Defensively he was a complete rock, he was a physical beast out there landing at least 4 huge hits, showed some really good offensive awareness, scored a goal and assisted on another (and should have had another if the 2nd overall pick didnt fan on a breakaway), and was a +4 on the night.

What a display he put on tonight, thought he was Canadas best defenseman tonight and that is saying a lot with who else is on the blue line.

So who clowns who? Brett the jet or Schneider? With Skjei/Buch and Laf/Miller it's becoming a tradition for our players to clown each other internationally.

Also happy to see Cozens tear it up. It will make it a little easier for Buffalo to accept that Eichel is a NY Ranger.

You forgot the Schneider-Henriksson feud

How did Tom Renney who was a good coach but not some huge name get to be CEO of hockey Canada?

Maybe he didn't want to coach anymore after trying to wrangle those absolutely awful Edmonton teams

CEO of Hockey Canada sounds like a better deal to me
He actually started coaching Team Canada at various lesser international events in the early 90s after coaching in the WHL. He was the coach for the silver medal Canada team in Lillehammer. He also was an AC with Canada while with us. He's a Hockey Canada lifer.
