Has anyone put in an order at Oscar's Pro Stitch Hockey recently? How long does he normally take to get back to customers?

Hey,

I know Oscar personally. He has done some great work for me in the past. He is usually very good with getting back to you in time, but he does take a little longer than others because he is a perfectionist. He wants to make sure he gets it right.

He also is great at stripping and cleaning jerseys if you ever need that done.

Let me know if I can assist with anything Oscar-related.

Pardon my ignorance -- what do you mean by stripping?

Wow -- didn't know this was done....I wanted to change a Kevin Hayes to Adam Fox some time back. Tried Cosby's but they wouldn't do it because it was glued. Maybe I'll go ahead now with this info.

Thanks much mate!!!!

I've had Oscar strip 3 old Djurgarden jerseys to put Mika on the back as a gift for my wife.

The jerseys are age appropriate (same seasons Mika played there)

The "Authentic Pro" Fanatics jersey start at, are you ready, $424.99 for a BLANK.

Good lord, lol.

Which is fine. It's a jersey that wasn't available in retail during the Adidas era.

For reference: The Vancouver Canucks sold a limited amount of these jerseys for CAD 800 last season.

The Made-in-Canada jerseys are expensive. But they are significantly better quality than the retail replicas Adidas sold and falsely labeled "authentic".

Reebok sold their Made-in-Canada jerseys for 300 dollars at the time. With inflation, 425 seems fine to me.

It's my imagination that the Fanatic jerseys look a little longer on the players, right? Also it's my imagination that the white on the Isles' shoulders was more opaque than the white on the body/sleeves. I almost feel like you could see the dark undershirt through it.

Oscar PSH does amazing work, but being that he is a 1 man operation definitely don't expect expect a 2 or 3 week turnaround. The finished product is definitely worth the wait!

Authentic CCM jerseys were $300 blank 20 years ago. It's a luxury not a necessity.

Yeah, but they really stayed around that mark for years and these are "Fanatics" brand jerseys which isn't a "premium" brand - Nike, Adidas, Reebok, CCM, etc...

Just not a fan.

See what I did there?

Thing is as noted above these haven't really been sold at retail in over a decade and prices have gone way up for everything since then. Any MiC that were sold at retail in the adidas era (not counting game issued/used) have gone for that price or higher.

I think the price is too high for my own liking (I plan on getting 1 but not at $425 blank) but it's not really that off base when factoring in the costs of the jerseys the past 5-10 years. adidas didn't even offer them at retail because at the price point it would have made sense to sell, they didn't think there would be much demand.

As for the premium brand apsect, the jerseys are the exact same thing adidas was producing in the same exact factory by the same people. The only difference in the jerseys is the removal of the dimples (adidas trademark), changing of the NHL logo to put their own twist on it, and the F being on the back instead of the adidas logo.
