Always tough for a goalie to miss almost two seasons with injury and get back on track at Jonathan Bernier's age. He'll be 35 when training camp starts. I figure at best he gets a PTO and he'd count as a veteran for a team to use during preseason.

Similarly I don't think Jake Gardiner is going to be healthy enough to get any attention. Andreas Johnsson was making the league minimum last season (assuming his signing bonus was paid in one installment) and he cleared waivers a couple times. I would think he'd be Europe bound for next year.

O'Reilly and Brown are the only ones with value to the Leafs but either their AAV will be too high to fit or the term will be too long.

I figure Foligno's contract should be manageable. After a bounce back season in Boston. On the right terms I think he makes sense to try again.

Personally I wouldn't go beyond a PTO unless he does so well that they can't let him go. I just don't see anything in him anymore.
