That's a huge win for Minnesota, obviously.

Now I'd say we're into territory where we absolutely have no room for error.

Minnesota dropping a point against Anaheim or San Jose would give us back some breathing room, but more realistically we'll need the Canucks to beat them to avoid needing to win out.

Sucks. It's unbelievable how often our backs have been against the wall. Absolutely nothing has been easy for this bunch.
We all deserve better. Team and fans. Whatever ends up happening, I'm proud of this team. Had two season ending injuries very early, Zary with two devastating injuries. A bunch of D in and out of the lineup. It's been an incredibly tough season and yet our chances are barely alive, but here we are.
Go Flames, win out, give them hell. Give them all something to talk about.

Unfortunately, that’s life. Although not quite mathematically eliminated, it’s doubtful that the stars align for us with only 5 games to go.

Provides a nice chance for some highly touted kids to get in and get a taste for some NHL games that are still somewhat meaningful to us. This isn’t a Spencer Foo situation, Suniev and Parekh could very well be the start of a new core. They did the best they could and surpassed all expectations. No shame in 9th this year because of that ridiculous Monahan trade so just got to keep pushing and maybe they’ll get lucky
