Also the game winner was scored by a guy who intentionally and blatantly slewfooted a guy away from the play which we're ok with as two minutes.

these are the possibilities for us taking a playoff spot from either STL or MIN

Tues Result	Flames need to do this to pass them...
Regulation win	Nothing, can't be done
OT or SO win	win out in regulation as it would give the Flames the tie breaker
OT or SO loss	win out, any wins will do
Regulation loss	get 3 points in final 2 games

Tues Result	Flames need to do this to pass them...
Wild win in regulation or go to OT	Nothing, can't be don't
Wild regulation loss	win out, any wins will do

Funny enough, we could actually steal WC1 and face Vegas in round 1.
This is possible if ....
both the Wild lose in regulation and we win out, any type of win
Wild lose in regulation and the Blues do not win in regulation and we win both out games in regulation

I know that here and especially on social media there's this absolute disgust about this season; and I get it. I get that people want to get first round picks at the top of the draft that'll change the trajectory of this club. I get it.

I don't get it. The goal every year should make the playoffs and build a winning culture within the organization. And it's not like the Flames prospect pool is empty, Flames have a ton of intriguing prospects and a unreal goalie.
