Jonas Johansson inexplicably obtaining an NHL backup job for 5 consecutive years is up there with trading Crouse for cap space when they just could have LTIRed Bolland in things I'd like to know that I will never get an answer to. Granted, the Crouse thing was probably because we had an HF boarder running the team that year so this is even more hard to explain. Tonight we get to watch one of the worst all time lace them up.

And before you say in b4 shutout, the only way this guy gets a shutout is in Tampa Bay plays an excellent smothering game, because if Florida gets more than 3 high danger chances they're scoring. He's incapable of playing well.

This probably reads as me being a hater but I have absolutely nothing against him, just the fact that maybe the 134th best goalie in the world is somehow ingrained as a backup defies logic and I want answers.

After rewatching the highlights and going through yesterday's Tampa game thread, I feel obliged to ask for a lot more acknowledgement for Spencer's performance. The kid did not face many shots, and the shots he did face were basically all grade A chances. I know most of us are very sceptical of him when looking at his contract and performance. But for last game, credit's due when credit's due

I agree… said last night that it wasn’t best 0.900 game I’ve seen.

Get pucks in deep, play hard, stick with the gameplan, play your game, first 5min are crucial, play full 60mins... I'll figure out some more as the game goes on.
