Hell of a game between the Thorns and the Pride. Portland up 1-0 at half and 6 2nd half goals to finish the game. Orlando came back on 3 seperate occasions including a late game equalizer only to give up a stoppage time goal off a corner. Great first week back from the World Cup!

Will see the local women and local hero Rose Lavelle on Saturday but got some other errands to run before that. Tryna get some stuff signed to hang in the living room here.

I remember getting stuff signed for the US Women when they won the gold in hockey but this might be more difficult. I am thinking something like this, with a team photo of the US Women.

RM joining the women's scene is a huge step forward for the game. Madrid is obviously soccer crazy and I think they will be able to get some decent crowds as they start playing more.

Also should be really good for the Spanish Womens National Team to have the club game take off in their country.

If anyone wants a good listen. This podcast from Alistair Campbell and his daughter Grace is really good. Alistair was a politician in England and is a huge football fan, his daughter is a big feminist and they combine the two and interview some good names on the topic. In the most recent episode they interview Sam Dyche, which was really interesting. I highly recommend!

I'm pretty sure all the teams that have played so far since the World Cup ended have all shown an increase in attendance.

More records tonight. Considering Sky Blue's owner couldn't care about the team, being able to get almost times the attendance they usually get is outstanding.
