Swerve is a fighting champion and therefore wrestles a lot, probably because that’s what he wants.

Wrestling singles with no stakes doesn’t make sense. Hence, no drama championship matches and eliminators.

They just need to mix in some tag matches. The first leg of an eliminator match is a great opportunity to do a dq finish or eat a pin via interference. The top guy is too protected.

Main Event Mina will now headline the Stardom show in Nagoya that’s starting in an hour.

The hardest working person in The Business

A couple of new shirts from AEW:

Sounds like Mina is going to come over and stay for a couple weeks to Forbidden Door.

I find it irresponsible for AEW writers to post scripts online. They are spoiling the show for us, lol. That is an upcoming MJF promo from the fall.

edit...as I see Gates of Agony defeat Private Party while the announcers are putting them over as beasts I cannot help but reiterate my point about Cage losing to Briscoe and how stupid it was given the recent TV time for that group. It's fine if Briscoe is in the ladder match he simply should have pinned someone other than Cage when they have a large roster.

Juice Robinson is amazing. Clearly he didn't get the memo about BCG being rebranded to the BBG, lol

I love Ricochet but I don't see how he stands out in AEW as himself.

Now, I do truly believe of all the high flyers in the world, he's the best. Moves wise, he's the most innovative wrestler in the world, at least close to it. I just think he'd get lost in the shuffle unless he showed up with the idea of doing something new.

I think if his goal is to try and become a true main eventer that Japan makes more sense. He could easily become top Gajin there right now.

Plus he can still do Forbidden Door matches with AEW so you get the Will rematch

Now that would be intriguing!

I know Ricochet is a bit older than Will, but him going through NJPW as a heavyweight this time and becoming a bit more well-rounded the same way Will has become would be money and I'd love to see it. Especially in the G1!

Okada leaving without putting anyone over was brutal.
The time they spent on coronating him, it would’ve taken years to do that. It’s really what you should be getting in position as soon as the top guy is over.

But maybe they thought it was Will.
