I still think Bryan should have taken the belt off Hangman as a heel. I think there was money there and heel Bryan is too awesome.

100%. I said it the moment Bryan showed up. Bryan as the heel coming in as the "big company" guy taking the belt off Page.

Tons of stories you could have done including an eventual Bryan/Punk title feud. Bryan/Omega. Cody was still there so Bryan/Cody could have been great.

I know the original plan was always to do the Omega/Page story but I think they needed to pivot once they signed those big fishes. I never felt Page had the ceiling they needed compared to the guys they signed. I guess Tony felt the same way as he booked Page's title run like shit

I wonder if MJF interferes in the match and it ends with no finish. MJF starts a whole thing about his goal is to put an end to all ex wwe talent and starts building an army of OG AEW guys. Eventually leads to an ex WWE vs OG AEW.

Eventually MJF screws over the AEW guys for himself at some point because of course he does.

Idk I think it makes more sense for Hangman to get involved at this point. Yeah it wasn't the plan, but plans change. Take advantage of the news, especially when a decent chunk of the fanbase wants to believe all the drama is a work anyway

Not sure if I watched that week or not, chances are if I saw Best Friends I changed the channel so I'll just have to take your word for it. I watched nearly religiously for a pretty good while, ordered I think all but one of the PPV's, , The last few months I have probably only watched half the time

No, I just prefer my pro wrestling to include pro wrestlers, not guys doing stupid gimmicks like Orange Cassidy who make a mockery of it, and the Best friends get lumped in with them. Moxley is a lousy wrestler who throws terrible punches and elbows and just does little for me.

Give me guys like FTR, MJF, Punk, Danielson, Claudio, the Acclaimed, and Wardlow
