That was the best dynamite in .... a long time. Certainly since MJF went MIA. Garcia v Danielson round 2 was great. Punk v Mox build up was solid. Acclaimed and Billy g, awesome. Kenny f***ing Omega finally back.... hell yeah. Sadly, the thunderstorms here in MN messed up my DVR, but I have to assume the Elite won. I don't understand the hate that many smarks out there have for the bucks and omega. Outside of prime HBK, Taker, and Jericho.... there aren't any better IMHO

You're not selling like that, not just taking the move but forcing Kenny to deadlift him onto his shoulders after multiple surgeries. I'd be shocked to learn otherwise.

I think he was injured when he jumped thru rope hitting omega over the gate andrade and rush kinda picked him back up lol.

Yeah that could've happened, but they were also trying to get the pin. If he was in a bad way I think they would've gotten him out of there.

Going through with the angle at the end under those circumstances is weird in 2022. Although, watching it back, the DDT was more gentle than it looked in passing.
 
Nice to see Dynamite trending better yet again this week. Still, don’t really get the point of squashing The Varsity Blondes like that considering they were facing The Ass Boys.

Last time I saw Ospreay in AEW he didn’t bowl me over. Regardless, to call out Pac here is :huh:. I don’t know how many guys are better than Pac because I only watch AEW, but I can’t think of many in AEW who are better.

there isn't many better pac is one of the best in the ring in the world.

The Ass Boys needed a win after losing the dumpster match.
 
Andrade seemed to be favouring his left arm the entire match as if he has some type of shoulder injury. I went back to the beginning and don't believe it happened during the match so if he is injured I'm guessing he went into the match injured but toughed it out for the Omega return. The trios title would be one way to protect Omega to some extent, certainly less wear and tear than wrestling singles matches. It was weird the way the match ended and Omega/Dragon Lee had a chat while he was still on his back post-match.

Interesting the rushed title match. Hard to imagine it ending clean but who knows. It would be an incredibly short build up and then a short build to All Out if one or both had different opponents.

The Pinnacle was mentioned during the FTR/Wardlow promo. Maybe their match is where MJF returns. I was wondering if he was going to return after the main event, if Punk/Mox was the main event, setting up MJF vs the champion at Grand Slam but decided with him and Punk fighting at the March 2022 PPV and him and Mox at All out 2020 that maybe it won't play out that way. In a way it would be disappointing to be gone for a few months then return and it's some type of Pinnacle/Wardlow situation, regardless of if he's with them or against them.
 
AEW wins and losses are supposed to matter so I don’t see how a MJF title match happens in New York. He hasn’t been on TV and last match he has he got squashed and also lost to Punk already. He’s not in the title picture right now. Probably going back to Wardlow where they do an actual match and not a squash.

I mean Ospreay been tearing up G1, recent promos are killer, this semi feud with Finlay and Robinson is dope and soon he will be feuding with White again. Also in the G1 finals. Id Say Ospreay is top 5 in the world.

Him vs Pac a solo match would be cool. Like Aussie Open but feel Cobb, Okhan, TJP or Henare should be Ospreay trio partners.

Just a fantasy but trios finals United Empire vs Bucks and Omega(Bullet Clubbers) could then somehow get NJPW involved with a run in maybe set something up for wrestlekingdom.

Even before their halfway interesting angle with Black and Julia I wouldn't say they were anything more than jobbers. I think Pillman could break away from the other guy (don't even know his name) and be a decent mid card... but I don't want or expect anything from either of them.

Yes, but I don’t know that they’re jobbers if they‘re on Dynamite and more to the point they shouldn’t be. I don’t care, but it’s just more bad booking and misuse of talent.

I appreciate your opinion, and maybe you're right. However ... with 3 hours of TV (2, really) the blondes cannot be and should not be anything more than jobbers with the talent AEW currently has. Obviously, just my opinion. Maybe should be utilized in ROH?

I agree with you with regards to their position on the roster. However, the guys they beat on Dark and Dark Elevation (graneed I haven’t watched those shows in a couple of months) are the jobbers, not the Blondes. For me, those two aren’t “jobbers”. IMO that’s subjective, but I don’t see them as jobbers.

Well what is ROH these days? Call me ignorant, but is it more than belts on AEW? I said it a couple of weeks back, they should use their YouTube programs, or rather convert them or one of them, to ROH. Last time I watched, and I was watching pretty regularly, Dark Elevation matches were tapings from the same shows as Rampage and Dynamite. With the roster AEW had/maybe still has, you don’t need jobbers. Are Private Party jobbers? I don’t think so, but where have they been? Why not have them face the Blondes on YouTube and feud there? (Just an example, not necessarily a feud I want to see, but it’s more interesting than seeing either of those teams face actual jobbers).

I just think that the way AEW uses some of it’s talent that they don’t need a roster that bloated. I get it that some guys aren’t working (literally) like the guys used to in the past and they get more time off, but they still don’t need that size a roster if you’re not going to use it.
