I get your point and to each their own but I personally don't care about wrestling being believable. I watch it to be entertained. I watch MMA to see real fights. I've never seen a wrestling match in my life that even slightly resembled a real fight including the stuff from the 80's and early 90's. Also, wouldn't you say that anyone beating Lesner is less believable than Darby beating Moxley, Punk or Archer?

Anyone can beat Brock Lesnar. You just need to wait until the cheque clears.

Talking bout Lesnar I saw someone say Vince being with WWE is what kept Lesnar from going to AEW. Now Vince is gone I still dont see him ever going.

Brock is anti social and an asshole. May feel AEW is too small for him.

I can't see Brock ever going to AEW. If they offer him an absurd amount of money then I guess it could happen but I'd be shocked if it ever did.

Wasn't a fan of him when he first showed up in AEW but he's really grown on me. Don't really like him losing to Hook but it was his 2nd match and his promo after was excellent. Kind of wish they would just get rid of the FTW title but Hook having it isn't a bad idea.

Good opening match between Rush and Moxley. Good promo between Jericho and Mox afterwards too. Moxley might not be popular with the iwc but he gets huge pops every week. The guy is as over as anyone in the company.

I don't really like Hook either, but he at least is a smaller guy I can buy beating the shit out of a bigger dude as opposed to Darby.

I do thing smaller dudes don't need to be jacked beefcakes, but unless they are hefty guys, I prefer some definition on them by and large. Obviously exceptions exist, but at least try to get a little cut

Everyone knew the Trios belts were coming, but seriously do we really need more belts?

I don't see the appeal of Hook either. Apparantly, he's popular because of an internet meme that started when Punk said "Send Hook" to Taz. I don't understand it.

They need to end this crap between Swerve and Nese. Put Swerve/Lee in a feud with a legit team and keep Nese on Rampage.
 
Its funny I shit talk AEW but I watch it over WWE. I watch NJPW more tho. Sucks that after Forbidden Door all those guys went away. Idk why Shibata made an appearance at Forbidden Door. Hasnt done anything with Ospreay or Cassidy since.

Probably his dad and his ties too. Hook is like a lazier Orange Cassidy. Now I hate to admit Orange is growing on me. Out of all the wrestlers kids wrestling now I like him the least.

I tried watching raw for the first time in years and .... ooof.... that camera work. The zoom in / out on every stupid little punch isnt quite as bad as I remember, but it's still bad. And the cuts to different angles every 2 seconds. Yuck. I can't even comment on the actual content and story, it's downright unwatchable.

I grew up watching Japanese wrestling. Watching NJPW G1 forgot these dudes have like some dope ass ring gear and Japan still looks at wrestling seriously. Havent watched WWE since they ruined Bobby Roode

Fan of NJPW as well, but definitely didn't grow up watching it. I was a WWF kid through and through. Wish NJPW was easier to watch though, I feel like AXS isn't consistent on continuity

I grew up watching more BJW W*ING and FMW. More a hardcore/deathmatch fan as a kid. NJPW now is just the shit. Can thank AEW for getting me into them.

I have recent G1s if u want em. Waiting for 26th. Wanna see Finlay vs. Juice

I'm not a fan yet per se but I don't hate him either and do see why he's over.

It started as a joke/meme, but he got himself over with good ringwork. I think the silent killer gimmick is kinda over too.

I think The Great O'Khan sucks, but Ospreay is one of my favorites, Cobb can go too and Henare turned himself from a jobber no one cared about into something decent.

And as you can see by my avatar. I'm a big Jay White fan.
 
Overall a good show... certainly leaps and bounds more enjoyable than last week's terrible show. 2 minor gripes. I don't like Hook going over on Starks. I don't get the Hook love, dude is probably 30 pounds lighter than billed and just f***ing boring. Although, if Starks losing that stupid belt results in both Starks v Hobbs getting more airtime ... I'm for it. Really liking those two. Why did Rush get a title match? I think the dude could be a big deal in time, but I feel like this was the 2nd time I've seen him in AEW. Main event was awesome. Good show. Loved the bucks getting cock blocked by dark order. Ready for omega and MJF to be back.

Weakest in United Empire is that dude Franseco or whatever. OKhan is great for his goofy gimmick. Henare is killing G1 currently.

Ospreay is the better wrestler but Jay is the better promo giver.

When my check hits Im getting shirts of both

Oh and Jeff Cobb/Scott Norton in Chicago was awesome

The long awaited trek north. There are larger venues but it is possible to sell 9,000 tickets to a wrestling event at the CocaCola Coliseum. I would take the two dates to mean they are hopeful for decent crowds. Maybe if it is successful then Revolution will take place from a larger venue. ScotiaBank Arena is open March 4 & 5.

They typically run smaller arenas. I assume it’s far less risk to them since it’s cheaper to do an 8k max building than an 18k.

If Toronto fills the barn and has a hot crowd, hopefully they go back and do it again. Perhaps they’ll give Toronto a themed Dynamite. Carnage in Canada
