What’s the matter with you people? I missed the first half hour or so of Dynamite and the rest of it was pretty bad. Then YouTube forwarded me the tail end of the Darby vs King. The clip of the matches last few minutes was excellent from both guys. The real highlight though…. The Redeemer! When his music hit I couldn’t stop laughing it was so great. His music is fantastic. Anyway, I wish they’d do something with him and The House of Black. They need to put Miro in all white, but just get it done either way. Even have them team up initially and then have Miro turn on them. I never thought I’d like Miro much, and the very little I saw of him in WWE never really interested me, but I love this gimmick.

AEW should stop doing death matches.

Exploding ring sucked. Ive made bigger explosions. The copycat Onita/Hayabusa ending was hilarious with the sprinklers. XPW exploding ring 20 years ago was 1000xs better and it was done in some shithole in Cali.

Shark cage death match was a shit show. Too many run ins. Cage malfunction. Is the feud over or what?

If they were to continue to do deathmatches at least bring in Onita, Jun Kasai, or Matsunaga to help produce them. Even Nick Cage.
 
The work in the match was fine, it felt that Anna Jay turning heel was the most important thing that happened which was weird because she isn’t really featured, and I originally wasn’t thrilled about it but Anna and Tay are the best best friends since Sasha and Bayley, and we know that when it comes to pro wrestling, friendship rules the day. But everything else felt like it was cheating. It’s a shark cage match and within like 7 minutes everyone is out of the cage. Then it’s another brawl I felt like I’ve seen 100 times. Just for Eddie to lose and immediately get heat back. Another main event match that was booked where they felt neither one could lose. I have no idea what they next step is unless they do loser leaves town or something.

Idk if its Athenas gimmick or personality but its annoying. I would prefer to see more willow she actually seems genuine.

The cage malfunction, and everyone just slipping between the bars was so appropriate. That’s just how that whole match went.

They botched everything once Sammy got involved. It’s almost like they planned for that 2 on 1 to be something completely different. That’s how sloppy it was.

I also hated Ruby throwing punches with her broken arm? At least try to keep some believability there.

Once sammy got involved, Eddie should have had 0 offense. Just let Sammy get the superkick in and get to the pin. No need for Kingston to get back up immediately and end with a moral victory. If they really needed Jericho to crash through the barbed wire pad on the floor, just do it before Sammy comes out and when Eddie turns around he immediately eats a super kick. Sammy helps Jericho back into the ring, Judas Effect with the barbed wire and a 3 count

It seems they are going to drag Eddie v Jericho out a bit more though. Next match has to be a last man standing, with a locked cage or something along those lines. Just end it please

The JAS whole schtick has been that they’re sports entertainers like WWE wrestlers- what better way to demonstrate that than by having a match advertised as no outside interference completely ruined by outside interference, leaving the fans disappointed

Best thing on the show was Brody King-Darby. Brody’s awesome. Good to see Miro out there too.
 
The Briscoe Brothers are now back with ROH.

Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan announced during today’s Death Before Dishonor media call that Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe have signed new longterm contracts with ROH.

While The Briscoes have signed with ROH, they are not under contract to AEW, according to Khan.

It’s been reported that Warner Bros. Discovery officials do not want The Briscoes on AEW programming due to anti-gay comments Jay made several years ago, which he has apologized for numerous times. There is no word yet on if that will be an issue moving forward.

The Briscoes recently finished up a quick run with Impact Wrestling, and have also worked dates for GCW, HOG, and others while ROH has been off the road. They dropped the ROH World Tag Team Titles to FTR at Khan’s first ROH event back in April, which was Supercard of Honor XV.

The Briscoes will challenge FTR at Saturday’s ROH Death Before Dishonor XIV pay-per-view in a 2 of 3 Falls match. FTR are the current IWGP, AAA & ROH World Tag Team Champions, but only their ROH titles will be on the line at the pay-per-view.

The Briscoes first joined ROH back in 2002. They are 12-time ROH World Tag Team Champions, 1-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions with WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, and Jay is a 2-time ROH World Champion. The Briscoes won the ROH Tag Team of the Year award in 2019, and were named Tag Team of The Decade for the 2010s. They were inducted into the inaugural ROH Hall of Fame Class back in January.

While this is great news, I hope they do not beat FTR.

Honestly I couldn't agree more.

A gift to wrestling whose in ring ability is only surpassed by their backstage work.

Truly the greatest athletes to come from rural California.

P.S Colepens still a dumb racist.
