Edit - I see you corrected it. Thanks for going through the trouble of collecting this for those interested in following prospects for particular NHL teams.

Crazy to see Nashville with 3 Russians compared to where they were a short while ago.

More than 1/5 of Team Sweden have been drafted by the Red Wings.

On the other hand, the Kings have draftees on six different squads.

I think NHL teams with more prospects on stronger WJC teams are a bigger testament to the value of the prospect pools.

For example, Colorado has 4 prospects at the tourney 3 of which are on Team Canada which is more impressive than Detroit or Toronto who have more prospects in the tournament but on relatively weaker teams.

Yes and no. Think it is a bit misleading depending on what country the prospect represents and the role they play for that team.

There are drafted players that didn't make Canada, Sweden or the USA that may be better prospects than players skating for some of the lesser squads.

But nine prospects is an impressive number.

Obviously it varies, but considering every player on team Canada is a 1st round pick they are generally better prospects than even the leaders on weaker teams.
