So glad the GM is smarter than the 85% of the fanbase that cried bust for the last four years.
Future captain of the New York Rangers.
Future captain of the New York Rangers.
A thread on the main boards got me thinking if Laf tops out as a Svechnikov type player would you guys be disappointed?
I think the possibility of Kreider getting traded ended when he started breaking Ranger records. His production has improved to the point where he is underpaid on a UFA contract. We aren't going to find a better value to replace him. Goodrow and Trouba will be the first ones out the door if we need cap space.
shesterkinThe other factor is apart from Lafreniere and Miller right now I don't see any really big contracts on the horizon. Maybe Schneider but we have a few years of control over him still and I'd want to see more offensive production before committing to anything massive.
Lafreniere looking so good this game. Maybe a chip on his shoulder after that faux pas last game.
Wish he got an assist on the Trochek goal.
Looked better than Matt Tkachuk last night.
Kid is gonna be such a stud. It’s giving the vibes of how bread got to break out next to Kane.
No one saying he was 100% a product of that now, yeah?
Bread probably because of low expectations never really got that hate for playing with Kane. Alexis is a mix of bad, disappointing, or only good because of every excuse in the book. I've never seen a more likeable kid get the kind of hate he does and it's not just rival fans.
Wrong team but MO is a stud , where you from? What a goal! Congratz on such a brillant player from a german DRW Fan.
During the first half of the season I was please but hoped he would take another step up in the second half of the season.
During the second half of the season I was pleased that he took another up but I got greedy and hoped he could take another step up in the playoffs.
Now its the playoffs and I'm thrilled. He has done everything I possibly wanted from him this season.
