Just curious what his value (real or perceived) is around the league. He's 34 years old (as of July). Here is the vital compensation info:

SeasonClauseCap HitAAVSigning Bonus
2020-21M-NTC$6,250,000$6,250,000$3,000,000
2021-22M-NTC$6,250,000$6,250,000$2,000,000

My opinion, which a number of Stars fans may likely disagree with, is that he's no longer the necessity he was even last season, due to the emergence (or apparent readiness) of younger players in the system—e.g. Gurianov, Robertson, etc.

I think he's moveable since he barely has any actual money left on his deal but i doubt the return would help the Stars on the ice. Imho you roll with him next year and see how it goes. He's not getting any younger but when he's his game on he's still a big difference maker and its only 2 more years.

Stars arent really in a cap crunch yet are they? What would moving him accomplish?

I think it all depends on if the Stars need more capspace after next season when Heiskanen needs a deal .

Radulov is very moveable with just $1,000,000 of actual salary next year and his NMC is also gone .

Ah, so keep him now and trade him in roughly a year? That makes a lot more sense.

Do you understand the actual cap hit us ehat teams take on and not many teams can absorbed that. That isn’t factoring the ROI un it.

I can see teams in this economy that are told to save money looking at aquiring contracts that don't have much actual money left on the deals. Sadly with COVID and all i'm pretty sure we will see more teams looking to slash the payroll .

the guy finally found an NHL home and now the fans pushing him out
Irony? or poetic justice?

If the teams needs to move one of the bigger contracts Rads is the easiest to move . Not like we really want him gone . More of a hey what would be the interest if Thread ?

Doubt the Stars move him this offseason but its a moveable deal if explored.
