Series Talk: AHL Pacific Division Semis: (6) SJ vs. (1) COL (COL wins 3-1, season over)

Right back at it tomorrow, probably would be a good idea to get some more offense in the lineup if you're going to be missing White.

Okay, watching it back, it's even more nonsensical: Duehr steps up and doesn't even hit the guy who knocked Gushchin down, which gives Colorado the 4 on 2. He just wanted to throw the body on the last man back.

Yeah that was confusing as hell. Went out of his way to throw a hit that's not necessary and give up a 4 on 2? Bonkers

Think we definitely see Musty back in. Do you think this is where we also see Chernyshov draw into the lineup?

I'd be fine with it. I think if we were healthy, I wouldn't consider putting those guys in right now, but offense has to come from somewhere. I actually am not sure I understand the rationale of putting Houle back in for Musty, Houle's done so little in this series.

Really long video, important bit at 2:00, the only clip I've found out there of the Colin White injury. Didn't notice Jake Wise hooking White's legs so that his head dropped down there in the first place. Geez the Eagles are trashy.

They definitely tried to include all the context they could in this one. Most of the game was a boring watch, but it had a lot of stuff happen in it, strangely enough.

In high school I got tripped while running cross-country by one of the two runners from our rival school just behind me. I pulled myself up and sprinted to catch up (the stands cheering me on!) and I absolutely drilled one of the two with a clean but violent shoulder check (no raised elbow, shoulder was principal point of contact, was parallel with the puck carrier). Well, it would have been clean in hockey, less so in a non-contact sport. Valiantly I walked off- yelling at the opposing fans- including the apparent mother of the guy I hip checked. Hey, I was an angry kid!

My best friend, informed me through tears from laughing so hard that not only was it the other guy who tripped me, but the guy I tripped was on our soccer team. It'll all worked out in the end, we won a pair of district championships together as a center midfield pairing.

Sometimes, you just see red and any opposing jersey will do. Remarkably stupid in OT though. Stupid, but I get it.

Like you said, dumb move to make in OT, though. You've really got to rein it in and play conservative in that situation.

What I would like to see, though, is the guys bring that kind of energy at the start of tonight's game. Eagles walked all over us in the first period last night. Bring the physicality. Give Tynan and Felhaber something to cry about.

Vanroboys and Chernyshov are in, White and Duehr are out.

Lines:
Regenda-Bystedt-Graf
Chernyshov-Giles-Cardwell
Gushchin-Ostapchuk-Sabourin
Vincent-Vanroboys-Houle

Cagnoni-Schuldt
Carlsson-Thompson
Hache-Frisch

Interesting look...
