Cam Fowler will be 34 (turns 35 the same year in December) when his current contract ends
and if he doesn't have a major injury (and plays 3 x 82 game full seasons, this one included),
he becomes the franchise leader in games played, in Ducks history, also 2nd most seasons played.

Cam already leads all ducks d-men in games played, goals, assists, points, number of seasons.

Ryan Getzlaf was 37 when he retired, he played 1157 games for the Ducks.
At 34, how many years you think Cam will have left in the NHL? (in 2026).

What if he plays until 40? (and still a Duck), then he could max out at 1600+ games, for 1 franchise.

he doesnt play a physical game so there is a good chance he stays pretty healthy. i wouldnt expect him to make it to 40 but becoming the franchise leader in games played seems pretty reasonable.

Well, that's cool and all, but I still feel like perhaps 3 years is a bit early for this?

Corey perry is also still ahead of him and just purposefully got his contract terminated so he can go back to the ducks and stay ahead of fowler.

Good for him, has had a pretty decent career. Pre draft I think there was an expectation he'd be a Norris contender but he's been very consistent, can't believe he's going to reach 1,000 games next year, feels like just yesterday I watched him in the World Juniors & Memorial Cup.

They should have a statue with Getz and Perry
