  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I'm actually excited to see how long LDBB can hold down that first line, it'd be a huge boost to our center depth and flexibility if he can develop into another top 6 worthy center in the next few years.

Looking at the opening roster, the defense and goaltending would appear to be the calling card for this team. Not sure they have the fire power to outscore teams, but that may be coming with the Junior guys in the next year or two. Should be a solid year and if the D lives up to what I think they can, should be very dynamic, mobile and able to play all 3 zones.

I'm going to be watching for reports on Ceulemans. Still very young and if he can put the tools together, could be a very good one with his size and skating and Right shot. I have more interest in the D-corp, but looking forward to a solid growth year from LDBB and want to see McCue, Dumais and Malatesta

I think there is a lot to like, but they aren't going to wow you with get out of your seat skill.

Very excited to watch Mateychuk and Dumais! I also think Sillinger is going to have a big year!
New no contract guys - would love to see Wilkie and Hall turn out to be big adds.

Monsters get the go ahead goal. Up 2-1. Ahcan from Mateychuk.

And like last year, get a goal, then get a penalty. Some things never change.

And its tied.

Parade to the penalty box turns a 2-1 lead into a 4-2 deficit. They really need to stop with the penalties.

Monsters doing better today. Up 4-1 after 2. Still going to the box too much, but they are playing a good game so far. Sawchenko has only faced 11 shots but looks good. DBB with 2 goals, including a power play goal.

Cuelemans drops the gloves. I don't remember him fighting before. Hershey trying to get the Monsters out of their games. Now on the PK and Sawchenko just took a shot off his head, trainers looking at him.

Now down 5 on 3 after 2 straight delay of game penalties. All defensemen in the box.
