In the short term, this game was f***ing there for the taking.

That's the last three playoff games versus the Chiefs, Bills were in perfect position to win every single one of them.

This just wasn’t a Super Bowl roster. I never had that “team of destiny” feeling I saw others post about. They don’t really have any true game changers on defense and very few on offense. They overachieved this year after a lot of roster turnover and $70+ million in dead cap.

And watching that Washington/Philly game earlier today was kind of like a moment of clarity for me. Buffalo doesn’t have a roster to compete with Philly. They have so much more talent on offense and defense. Buffalo has the better QB but otherwise… eh.

I still wanted the Bills to finally get by LC in the playoffs but I wouldn’t have been very hopeful about their odds of winning against the eagles. We’ll never know now though.

I just hate that they lost to Kansas City yet again. I’m so damn sick of feeling like their little brothers. They always seem just a bit better - coaching, offense, defense, drafting, clutch moments in games, etc.

And in true Buffalo fashion, the Bills are the ones who created this roadblock by trading them Mahomes.

But it didn't actually get stuffed on the one that mattered, and they didn't call it on the key 4th and goal from the 1 earlier.

They stopped calling it on 4th and the full yard and they absolutely got the half yard they needed on 4th and a half

Quite literally the only hope they have of advancing to an SB in Allen’s tenure is someone else pulls off a miracle and beats KC before they can play us

Reid consistently owns McD for large swatches of the playoff games and Mahomes is almost perfect all the time (save for the fumble today)

Also Allen made just enough mistakes today that it doomed them.
