They are much better in D and G thant they was vs those team.

The best than any of those D outside of rielly would be able to do in actual leafs D would be 6th/7th D. It was the leafs D vs columbus with Muzzin injured and was probably thw worst defensive groupe by any NHL team in playoff last 10-15 years.

It's also why both team finished with same amount of pts.

VS MTL, yeah it was the biggest fail

They lost close series to teams with a history of winning/going far in the playoffs in many of those years. Losing to BOS/TB/FLA isn't akin to losing to the WC1 team after finishing first in the Atlantic.

They did choke in 2021 against MTL. I guess we'll find out if they're really chokers or if that was a one-off.
