I agree with this but I believe the fact remains that the Leafs have more of the pressure. Of course there's pressure on the Sens too as this is the playoffs but for the Leafs .. it's been building over and over.

It really can’t be easy to be a goalie in this situation. Hoping Stolarz and Woll stay steady, and our actual defensive play improves.

they were not the only issue....idk what you were expecting Matthews and Nylander to do in the press box
They were out there in games 80 81 and 82 running themselves ragged trying to get to 70 goals and 100 points respectively.

Had nothing left in the tank for the first round so yeah I do think they deserve some blame.

Of course they deserve some blame I'm just saying that team had other issues too

Gotta hope money motivates mitch enough to make me and several others eat crow 🙏

I’m more worried about our depth scoring. Contrary to popular belief our stars have outperformed the other teams several times and we’ve still lost.

Market would have imploded if they choked the division. Instead they went almost undefeated to end the season

9-1-1 in their last 10 games of the season. Stolarz on an 8 game winning streak with two shutouts

Leafs peaking at the right time for the first time I can remember.

Matthews top 3 in the NHL in scoring since he came back from injury early February

Defense is the best it’s been in 20 years

Depth scoring is best it’s been in 20 years

Goaltending best it’s been in 20 years

Powerplay became a top PP in the league after a disaster first couple months of the season

Team toughness best it’s been in 20 years, a dozen different players with fighting majors this year

Won the Atlantic division, which has been the east’s representative in the Stanley cup finals something like 7 out of the last 8 years

The Leafs are an absolute juggernaut

I'm so excited for this series. I fully expect Brady Tkachuk to get a 100-game suspension somehow.

I believe this series is going to be an absolute banger.

So if they lose it's gonna be the biggest choke in NHL history?

If your only hope to win is the hope that your opponent will choke …. Do you really have any hope at all?
The way some of y’all have been hyping the Leafs up it seems like anything short of a Stanley Cup would be a choke so imagine losing in the first round
