Nice strawman, at no point did I bring up anything about pride? Also Metro Toronto is not a larger city than New York, Chicago or Los Angeles. But yes I am grateful to have a team with a dedicated and large fanbase.

I usually always compliment the other team. It's just that outside of the penalty kill, the Leafs are the superior team top to bottom. If this was this Sens team 3 years from now with more experience I would say it is a lot closer

That doesn't always matter though. When Ottawa was #2 seed and Toronto was #7 seed, Ottawa got swept despite being better at almost everything then too.

Toronto had 232GF and 207GA.

So their GA was very similar (like this year) but Ottawa had much more GF (like Toronto this year).

They are the favourites. They should win. But it's more of a 60/40-70/30. Not a 99-1 or 100-1 unless you care to admit that you're just speaking in hyperbole to amp things up? 8 years ago, the Sens were in the playoffs and won two series. The Leafs were knocked out in the 1st round.
