Sens fan. It sucked as a kid and I couldn’t imagine it as an adult.
Well this Sens team definitely can beat the Leafs. On paper the Leafs should be the favorites and win the series fairly easily, but as always with this version of the Leafs you just never know for sure if they can deliver in the playoffs so lets see what happens.

I believe there are teams being discussed in this thread, not only the Leafs...
Lmao so sensitive. You and I both know that if it was just Ottawa vs another Eastern team it would not get anywhere near this level of engagement. Previous years playoffs threads with the Leafs also topped the posting numbers.

If the Leafs win the cup, a lot of crow is being served even to Leaf fans
And if/when they lose this series? Honest question.

I think he has to be shown the door right? I would consider keeping Berube but I think you gotta blow up the core and admit the Shaniplan is a failure, right?

I'm not saying scorched earth rebuild but more than a little retool...

Media/fan pressure will probably stop enough fundamental changes from happening, which is likely the fundamental problem.

That's not a realistic scenario!

Sure, you can make that quip but it only makes you look unserious.

Implied betting odds are about 60/40 in favour of the leafs winning - which seems about right. If anything the money line is being pushed towards a leafs win by a larger fan base/betting pool.

40% is a pretty significant chance of something happening. And if it does happen, it's gonna be very interesting how the franchise reacts!

(Apparently, I'm "sensitive" though I'm not a Senators' fan. This is interesting.)

So, what you're saying here is, your point of pride is that your favorite team has the largest fanbase, itself a result of the team being based in the largest city...? This fact makes you proud. Am I correct?

If the Leafs go in playing as strong as they have to end the season, it won't be easy for Ottawa either.

The key is going to be to get Brady to take his normal course of boneheaded penalties. Max Domi is going to need to get under Brady’s skin.
