This definitely is the most confident fanbase we’ve played in the HFBoards era. Rangers fans in 2012/2017, Habs in 2013/2015, Boston in 2017…I don’t think it ever got to this point lmao.
They're trying to talk themselves into being confident, but they know their team.

Sure, but it’s still valid point, from the last 4 1/2 months, it’s a 2 point difference.

Not for you specifically, but just in general.
Gary Roberts just said on Overdrive, without goaltending Leafs probably lose all those series against the Sens.
100%

This series, like most, will come down to the better one in goal. Whomever keeps their team in the game longer will prevail. It's hockey, there is so much parity in the league. Anyone can beat anyone, regardless of what people think. Margins are always slim.

Greig? He gets under your skin, which is why I called him an asshole. He wears a shit eating grin, he gets guys to lose focus and he's actually quite a good player. Again, the prototypical asshole 3rd liner.

What impresses me most about Greig is his skating. He's a phenomenal skater and in the last year I feel like his 200 foot game has greatly improved (while, strangely, his plus/minus has really dipped.)

Well that’s hard to say really, unless you look at the standings for every day since TDL, as teams move up and down over the 1/4 season.
That is true, but without strictly accounting for available players, backup goalies and back to backs (Leafs had one more) current standings at least somewhat (on average) reflect strength of competition.

Team USA can shove it

When you guys stop gettin over run by leaf fans in your own building you can lose the lil bro tag

There's always going to be an outsized percentage of opposing fans in the Sens building when the Leafs and Habs come into town.

That's just the mathematical reality of being a small market sandwiched between the two biggest cities in Canada.

Leafs and Habs fans are able to fill up half the buildings in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary.

Expecting that a city 2-4 hours away would be the ones that can put a stop to that isn’t realistic. It is what it is.

Hell, it sometimes sounds like a home Habs game when the Habs play in Toronto, and vice versa.
