Most of the posts seem to be talking about how great the Leafs are so not sure I would call it a Senators thread
I think there's about 3 leafs fans that have posted around 20 pages of comments so far. That's not the brag you think it is.

No wonder Leafs fans want tickets in Ottawa so bad - These guys must be hella broke because they clearly aren't working during the day.

Ullmark sucks in the playoffs and the rest of the team is pretty average too. Inexperienced with no game breakers. Leafs in 4.

Still, it’s nice to see Ottawa in the playoffs again. Won’t be for long but I hope the Ottawa fans enjoy their week of fame nonetheless.

If that's not the most passive aggressive post ever...

I genuinely don’t know how this series goes. Any and all outcomes wouldn’t shock me. Could be long or short. Either team could win. I’ll lean Toronto on the assumption I’m just in a constant Leafs fan doom loop, but Ottawa is going in there with nothing to lose, against a team with 8 years of playoff failures screaming in their head.

One is the division winner and the other has missed the playoffs for 7 straight seasons (and did so disastrously last season) and limped into a wild card spot

Sens needed a miracle to make the playoffs
Seeing the thought process behind your arguments you sure would know the definition of limp.

Like, if this is the same Sens team that missed the last 7 years then this is the same Leafs team that choked in the playoffs the last 7. No? Do you need help de-scrambling what I said?

Is that a dick joke? Lol good one

It's hilarious to see Leaf fans acting like their team is some untouchable juggernaut and that Sens fans should be super scared of them when they're going to finish with 108 points, which will end up like their 3rd or 4th best season over the past few years. Because they have a player that finishes checks in Domi and they now have someone who can actually defend in Tanev on the backend we're supposed to pretend like they're going to steamroll their way to a cup.

Didn't we hear the same things being said about Ryan O'Reilly and Jake Muzzin? It doesn't matter. It always comes down to the top 4 forwards, and they always disappoint. Those guys are the same, and every Leafs fan knows it.

I know regular season means nothing, but those 4 have a combined 3 points and are -8 against the Sens this year.
Leafs have Anthony Stolarz, while the core 4 are obviously the engine we can win with them dissapointing simply due to Stolarz keeping us in it. This might not win the cup, but it can easily get us past Ottawa

Stolarz in his last 8 games is 8-0-0 with a .950, 1.37 GAA and 3 shutouts. He's a top 5 goalie in the league this season

Interpreting Stolarz giving praise when directly asked about Ottawa as being “worried” is hilarious.

Have you ever watched a scrum before? Every team in the league gets praised by their opponent.

When the series is over, I predict Matthews to declare:

“You know they really gave us a run for our money in a couple periods. A really good upstart team who made big strides over the season. Team to watch. Tim Stutzle is my favorite player.”

When the series is over, I predict Berube to declare:

“We got a lot of respect in that (handshake) line from their team. It was a much different tone of respect on the other side from what we’ve experienced previously. We’re earning respect in the league. But we’re not in the respect game. We’re in the winning game."
