As an aside, how can a series that is so obviously going to be completely one sided in the Leafs favour generate the most discussion of any of the series threads?

lol, you're in for a bit of a surprise. Ottawa, as a team, does not turtle. And....pray tell, who on the Leafs will make us turtle, if you don't mind me asking.

Griegg turtled against Morgan Rielly. Leafs have 12 different players this season with fighting majors. Lots of options to pick from.

Maybe Knies?

Maybe Domi

Maybe Carlo

These are all from the last few weeks btw lol

Ottawa should switch jerseys and wear black and gold to spook the ever living hell out of the Leafs.
Bruins jersey's look black and yellow......Saints and 49ers are gold (and yes i know what the hex codes say)......

on the sens board the over confidence is laughable. Some predicting a sweep.

The same thing happened back 20 years ago and every time it was the same thing. The sens fans cried sweet bitter tears

Let’s hope it’s the same outcome I can’t wait to see the excuses and blowups there.
Something, something leafs fans thinking they will have some playoff success with their heartless core. Same thing happened every year with this group. The leafs fans cried sweet bitter tears.

See, I can do it as well.

It's hilarious to see Leaf fans acting like their team is some untouchable juggernaut and that Sens fans should be super scared of them when they're going to finish with 108 points, which will end up like their 3rd or 4th best season over the past few years. Because they have a player that finishes checks in Domi and they now have someone who can actually defend in Tanev on the backend we're supposed to pretend like they're going to steamroll their way to a cup.

Didn't we hear the same things being said about Ryan O'Reilly and Jake Muzzin? It doesn't matter. It always comes down to the top 4 forwards, and they always disappoint. Those guys are the same, and every Leafs fan knows it.

I know regular season means nothing, but those 4 have a combined 3 points and are -8 against the Sens this year.

What you are missing is everyone including Leaf fans expected them to take a step back this season because they had to learn how to play the Berube system. Point totals were going to go down, players and fans alike knew that and said as much. 108 points sure not crazy impressive until you put it in context.

You guys keep quoting the entire season when what matters is how they are playing right now. Why not quote their record since the TDL? This is what you guys keep missing. How they look as they finally fully understand the system and the finishing touches are on the roster.

Awesome that one of the Ontario teams is guaranteed to go to round 2...

Stolarz playing the way he has been and the Leafs having all their players this time will be big......Last year was a mess with key guys in and out of the line-up and Samsonov playing more than Woll.........

Stolarz is great value for the money. TO hasn't had steady goaltending in years.

Because Ottawa has 28 points since the trade deadline to Toronto's 27 lol. People have pointed this out to you many times.

Ignoring the facts when pointed out to you? Also a sign of nervousness. You're so obvious man, I would just wait until game 1 if I were you, because your desperation is showing.

Yeah Ottawa's up against some behemoths in Toronto's bottom 6 with "3 goals, -3 but 52 PIMS!!!" Domi and old man Pacioretty.

Ottawa might be starting the playoffs with Claude Giroux on their 4th line.

This is how you prove you live in a Toronto bubble. The Leafs have some weapons up front, but no team in the league is afraid of their forward depth. Thin thin thin.
The leafs forwards >>> Sens forwards. Top end and bottom end.
