9 years? all 9 years the odds were stacked against them eh. Columbus and Montreal what juggernauts.

Did you even read what I said? That falls under being young players and the team being built poorly. The only year those things were not true was last year, and that year they missed Matthews, Nylander, Woll, and McMann for most or all of the series depending on who and only lost in game 7 OT.

I read what you said. So its everyone elses fault they could never win not the star players on the team. Gotcha.

Where was that crazy depth scoring to bail them out?

Senators fans not getting the point that the Leafs are not the Leafs of years past. Gone are the soft Keefe and Dubas Leafs. These Leafs are going to run over the Senators and they are talking about playoff series when Matthews was the same age as Stuzle as to why we will lose lmao

I thought we were talking about last year? Which one is it?

You say literally the exact same thing every year. Are you new to being a Leafs fan or something? This is routine at this point.

Even if they aren't as soft as previous iterations of the Leafs, I think the Sens are scrappier, just as strong defensively, and goaltending is kind of a wash. I think it will come down to whether or not the Leafs (read: core four) score enough

I have said this is the year before correct. Mostly it was copium that they would come alive and score 7 goals a game and do what the Oilers did last year. That died out, it is not happening that way with this team.

Now, you put together a big, huge, mean group of guys who grind out wins and pull in the same direction, give them intensity behind the bench, throw that in front of arguably the best goalie in the NHL this season if not for injury, and it's a thing of beauty. Imagine those Islanders teams having 4 superstars up front.

Leafs game plan is to grind the Senators into paste and it will be glorious

Tampa and Florida are going to beat the hell out of each other in round 1
This is kind of a hilarious talking point considering the winner of their last three meetings (2024, 2022, 2021) has gone on to the cup finals. Clearly they both still had a lot of gas in the tank
