It really was special man, and it aged incredibly well. Unlike other Nintendo consoles, which were revolutionary but aren't as fun to go back to(N64 and Wii).

Just thinking about Super Nintendo, it's insane what they were able to accomplish. If the PS1 didn't remake most of those iconic JRPGs it would be even higher in history.

Anyways, Sens suck and stuff.
Console programmers in the 80's and 90's were superheroes. Line after line of 8- or 16-bit assembly code, and the NES didn't even have a good processor for handling floating-point math for frick's sakes. They built memories with one hand behind their backs.

Yeah but cup winners and guys who have been on deep playoff runs? Not really. Most of their playoff experience is getting knocked off in the first round.

Sens players who have a cup or played in a SCF: Amadio, Cousins, Giroux, Perron (twice).

Leafs players who have a cup or played in a SCF: Carlo, Ekman-Larsson, Lorentz
Jarnkrok and Carlo have played in the SCF

Amadio had 5 goals in that Stanley Cup run, which is just as many as Matthews, Marner, Nylander, or Tavares have ever gotten in a single playoff season. You'd think one of those guys would've been able to outscore Amadio in a single playoff season, but nope.

Breaking news, players are likely to score more points the more games they play

You will still have to face one of them in the second round
1. Thanks for admitting you have no chance.
2. We much prefer Tampa who we own recently. Both Florida teams are great at home and Tampa has home ice. And Florida is injured. They would beat up each other hard.
3. We will just pickup pieces at the fields of battle of Florida. And we would have home ice in the division where only Leafs have great away record.

Tampa and Florida are going to beat the hell out of each other in round 1

I like how you have to put a qualifier on it because you know the Leafs have guys like Max Domi and Max Pacioretty in their bottom 6 😂
Yeah Ottawa's up against some behemoths in Toronto's bottom 6 with "3 goals, -3 but 52 PIMS!!!" Domi and old man Pacioretty.

Ottawa might be starting the playoffs with Claude Giroux on their 4th line.

This is how you prove you live in a Toronto bubble. The Leafs have some weapons up front, but no team in the league is afraid of their forward depth. Thin thin thin.

Ottawa has the better defense and goaltender. Pure offense goes to the Leafs.

Sens in 5 or 6.
Is this post from 2023/2024 season? Because you have more goals allowed and it’s your goalie that has terrible playoffs record. Not to mention that our D is way-way better than last year and way better than yours. Objectively.

The Leafs have 6 20 goal scorers on their team and Nick Roberts has 15 would easily have 20 if he played all games. Domi had a terrible first half, he's been amazing the last 6 weeks. You don't even know the players in Toronto's depth. Bobby McMann is about to run your shit lmao

you're right, we're very sorry we made the playoffs.

The Leafs will send you back where you belong, give it 6 games. Enjoy the post season while you can.

You have kids turning into teenagers in Ottawa who have never seen these bums play a playoff game

Battle of Ontario AND Battle of Tkachuks in the same playoffs???

Battle of Ontario, check.

But who wants more Tkachuks? Brady choked on the only important scoring chance he's ever had as a pro (or, the best version is he was absolutely robbed ... still choked though) and Matthew selfishly played in the same "gold medal" game when he was clearly unfit to, was pulled from the game minutes later, meaning the U.S. was a man short when someone healthy could've been in the lineup in his place.

Hey, as a Canadian I can admit I sure was happy they were playing for America and not us! So bottom line, the less Tkachuks the better.

Actually every one of those kids were alive to see more playoff series wins than the leafs. Hilarious you are coming with this stuff.
