Meh, I think it's being a little sensitive.
I've been to plenty of Sens-Leafs games over the years, usually with one of my friends who are Leafs fans. (not in the playoffs mind you)
There are many Leaf fans in Ottawa, that's just the way it is. My wife and her entire family are from Toronto and they were Leaf fans at one time.
As long as it doesn't get violent and the ribbing isn't too mean-spirited, I think it raises the level of excitement in the rink.
The best thing that Ottawa can do is become more competitive again, and hopefully this is a step in the right direction.
The playoffs aren't usually as even as the regular season.
Look at all those Leaf fans cheering in solidarity with Mike Fisher.
I will say that the secondary market is much easier to access nowadays so it may be more even than in the past.
