And any Leafs player that's been around prior to this season.

I think we're all just pretty happy to finally be here. Whatever happens, happens.

We're pretty inundated with Leafs coverage in Ontario, so the prospect of a summer of coverage about how the Sens beat the Leafs in round 1 would be pretty cathartic in a way I don't think a lot of fans of other teams would appreciate. That, and us older fans have some demons we'd like to excise.

But on the whole? Happy to be in the show, in what promises to be a really, really good series that should reignite a decades old rivalry between a team that has everything to prove, and one that has zero expectations on their shoulders.
I'm actually looking forward to watching the games this year. Very fond memories of those early 2000s series. Maybe some of that is nostalgia, but I don't feel like we've had that kind of rivalry since then.

OEL has been a welcome surprise too. People laughed at it last summer, but he's paid off this season.

I always wish him well. In hindsight it was probably a mistake to name him captain of the Coyotes. Before having that burden to bear, he was great. At the same time, he went through some family issues which affected him gravely. Wasn't entirely sad to see him go to Vancouver, especially since we landed the draft pick we used to select Dylan Guenther.

However, it's usually nice to see ex-Coyotes get their game back and be good again.

This series will be either like getting kicked right in the jewels, or like watching that person you can't stand getting kicked right in the jewels. Either way, someone's going home cupping their cajones.

There will be no summer coverage if it happens. TSN and Sportsnet will make sure that moment gets Trotsky’d from existence.

Anyways, it is clear Senators fans are holding out hope that when they win a game in the series that is the end and the Leafs will fold due to pressure. I guess they missed last year where they were down 3-1 and fought back to game 7 OT missing Matthews, Nylander, Woll, and McMann

...and then lost.

Why on earth would you cite an example where the Leafs lose??

Being relegated to the desert couldn't have been good for anybody back then. He's been a solid addition.

Why were you responding to yourself? Not getting enough attention?

At the Sens opener, tossing stick shafts into the audience.
This speaks to both teams: Isn't it sad that the most relevant memories of this rivalry (excluding maybe Greig/Reilly) are 20 years old? Maybe both teams give a couple shifts to Neil and Tucker and see if they can get the place buzzing like the good ol days.

Nice to finally see both teams good at the same time to have some fun again!

You’re telling me Stolarz doesn’t?

Dude was dating Scarlett Johansson, come on
I think that would be news to Colin Jost.
Come on, Eddy is legendary in that regard. Stolarz could hold his beer maybe.
I had University classes with Stolarz, didn't seem like a booze bag and didn't bring ScarJo by.

Hoping for a Sens victory because I'm petty with the Toronto rivalry but it's gonna be Toronto tho and we all know it.

Season series doesn't mean too much. Because that's regular season hockey. Every dynamic is different in the post-season.

Leafs in 6

Next year it is your guys turn. We've played basically everyone else in round 1.
