It was a pretty easy example for me to reference to prove that you're wrong, let alone the previous 17 pages.
You're not allowed to complain about being told what to do. A couple Leaf fans told that guy what to do and now he's got the monopoly on complaining about being lectured.

I'll be sure to point out his lecturing next time he posts in a Leafs thread that doesn't concern the Senators!

It's both. The defense is not perfect but are very good at cleaning up any rebounds to not allow 2nd/3rd chances AND hold a strong structure that lets them mostly limit high danger chances while blocking tons of shots.

But our goalies have been outstanding as well. Best goaltending the Leafs have had in 20 years easily

They have two guys, while not flashy they are rock steady. Carlo and Tanev

Winning the Atlantic was huge!
I have a hard time buying into any hype for the lower ranked seeds in the East given how pathetic the eastern conference was as a whole this year. Sure the west had the sharks and hawks but every other team finished above 500 and 1-14 the teams are overall better IMHO.
Not to mention the many advantages eastern teams have when it comes to travel.

Leafs experience and not having to play a Florida team should see them win.
I see 4 western teams in the bottom 5 of the league, by points.
And there were more teams in the west below 500 than Sharks and Hawks.

There's a tiny seed of doubt in the heart of every Leafs fan.

You can try to ignore it by beating your chest, demanding respect and acting tough.
And any Leafs player that's been around prior to this season.
You could say the same for Sens fans.
I think we're all just pretty happy to finally be here. Whatever happens, happens.

We're pretty inundated with Leafs coverage in Ontario, so the prospect of a summer of coverage about how the Sens beat the Leafs in round 1 would be pretty cathartic in a way I don't think a lot of fans of other teams would appreciate. That, and us older fans have some demons we'd like to excise.

But on the whole? Happy to be in the show, in what promises to be a really, really good series that should reignite a decades old rivalry between a team that has everything to prove, and one that has zero expectations on their shoulders.

Lmao I’m pretty sure this all started because a Leafs fan was getting heated because there were some confident Sens fans on the Sens board.
I assumed it was multiple Leaf fans. It's crazy that 1 Leaf fan upset a guy so bad that it's all he keeps talking about in this thread.
Bizarre.
