Anyways, it is clear Senators fans are holding out hope that when they win a game in the series that is the end and the Leafs will fold due to pressure. I guess they missed last year where they were down 3-1 and fought back to game 7 OT missing Matthews, Nylander, Woll, and McMann

I think the Leafs sweep this. This seems to be their best overall team in the Matthews era, goaltending is finally solid (plus they have two good options), defence is much improved and they have more forward depth. I think Tanev was a huge addition for them and really what they ere missing all these years post Muzzin.

Tho maybe Ottawa will steal one and it'll be a gentlemen's sweep.

This is the part where I'm supposed to get all outraged and insulted at the mere idea that Ottawa won't win a game, right?

But no, it's certainly possible. Ottawa doesn't have a lot of playoff experience among its core players.

Clearly there's no hope at all.

Yeah, well, we have a lot of bad playoff experience so maybe it will even out more than you think?

You'd better get busy.

There are dozens of fans out there that you haven't lectured yet.
He uploads seminars on YouTube and gets like 10k views

I don’t think he’ll have a hard time in that regard

90% of them were not in the past 3 seasons. It was when they were young like the Senators. Instead of being in the bottom of the league though they were a playoff team learning how to win

That’s how selective reading works.

From what I’ve read, the Leafs are winning the Cup this year.
Well I read the Leafs board and the Leafs had already lost in the first round before the matchups were set according to those Leaf fans. In fact, Mitch Marner is so terrible that the NHL is thinking of revoking our playoff spot so you guys might get a free pass to round 2.

Leafs looking to sweep, Sens just want some valuable experience as they get completely crushed. Should be a good one.

Wonder who Toronto faces in Round 2. Looking like Florida is limping into the playoffs right now.

I'd say the only advantage the Leafs have is home ice throughout the series. Playing at Scotiabank Arena East always feels like home.

What is this, a book report?

The Leafs are the favourites, it's reflected in the betting odds, it's reflected in the poll responses, I'm not sure what more you want.

It's almost 9 calendar years since Matthews was drafted and we are still f***ing learning lessons we should have learned 5 goddamn years ago or more.

They need to either f*** or get off the D.

Hey now, you're going to upset some of the natives with that kind of talk.

The lessons were learned years ago. They won a round, lost a 2nd round series, then had half their core injured and lost. They are healthy this year. It is not going to be close.

Lots of Sens hate, huh? Just between us, bro, but if I were a Leafs fan, I wouldn’t start talking shit until the second round.

There's a tiny seed of doubt in the heart of every Leafs fan.

You can try to ignore it by beating your chest, demanding respect and acting tough.
