Series Talk: [A1] Toronto Maple Leafs vs [WC1] Ottawa Senators | Part II (TOR lead 3-1)

Toronto can play better and so can Ottawa. Tonight should be a great one

Leafs finally have elite goaltending. Before the season Stolarz raised some eyebrows when he said he is excited for the chance to show people he is one of the best goalies in the league. He’s showing it now

5 of the 6 went to OT and I believe the Leafs won 2.

I believe you. My points are still the same though: that series could have gone either way and given the disappointing results after that series, I don't think it was quite the learning experience mentioned by the poster I responded to.

Some Leaf “fans” - - particularly sympathizers of the previous failed coach/GM duo - - are spouting advanced metrics even harder than little brother is.

This playoff success must be exceptionally difficult for Leaf “fans” to bear now that their heroes aren’t part of the organization.

Leaves nation is going to forever regret saying “Brady Sucks” - he took that personally and so did the team and Torontinos going to pay for it.

That's a very frightening to know 60 point “sniper” Brady Tkachuk is personally upset by Toronto fans.

Hopefully he doesn’t strain himself too badly in Gsme 3 like he and his brother did at the Four Nations Cup.

No, it’s not over. But show me another 2 v 7 series where half of the boards voted for the 7 seed.

Just pointing out the obvious bias, which is why you can’t trust what’s said about the leafs around here lol

To be fair, show me another 2 v 7 series where the 2 seed has a comparable record of dismal playoff performances...

Wow, had to look it up for myself.

Green actually did state he thought the overtime goal may have been too many men. I had to see it with my own eyes to believe it.

In an era where a Leaf coach got blasted for an offhand comment about respect between two teams at the end of a tough series, this maroon thought a 2 on 4, where the other Leafs are changing and nowhere near the play, should have been a penalty on the Leafs?

Obviously too many men......

I don't know what to say about it. Am I missing something here? Please for the love of god help me figure out what he meant by "the overtime goal was arguably too many men on the ice".
Sorry for taking so long to respond, but it is blatantly obvious that the Leafs had more men on the ice than the Sens. In the screen shot that you provided, the Leafs had two men; the Sens had four boys.
