I was actually impressed with how they pushed back as the game went on. Let’s see what happens in their barn.

I find it funny how many posters are already projecting Fla in the 2nd round. TB is the better team. I hope they beat TB, but mark my words, TB is winning that series. There is no part of me that misses facing Kucherov in the first round.

The Leafs do feel different this year and it begins and ends with Stolarz.

Tampa is absolutely not the better team when Florida has everyone. Florida is easily the best team in the east when healthy and no its not close.

Healthy Florida is top three in the NHL.
They did a great job of rest players down the stretch and they will be one of the toughest out these playoffs if they stay relatively healthy.

...honestly, I'd have a healthy Panthers team at #1 in the NHL...they just aren't weak anywhere (as long as Bob doesn't shyte the bed)...

Bob is the best goalie in the league. Hardly a weakness, maybe on D but they are getting Ekblad back soon too. Then Jones get slotted better on the 2nd pair.

As a Sens fan, I have to admit the Leafs look different this year. They're a very composed team and I think Berube has them playing the right way. Bringing in Carlo and Tanev to the D core is a game changer as well.

They'll be a tough team for anyone to beat.

Hope the boys can maximize their game at home in games 3 & 4 and make this a series.

Can’t help but think that game was a big missed opportunity for Ottawa.

Of course, but they didn't deserve to win.

They got the game within 1 heading into the third and then got outshot over 2:1 by the Leafs in the third and OT. 4 shots in a third in a game you're down usually doesn't tie the game for you. Nice deflection and they had a chance and got a total of 4 shots after they tied the game, including OT.

Next game is a big one for Ottawa. Leafs get a split and the series is likely over.

Well, they have been trailing by 2+ goals for most of the series so far, so it makes sense that's when most of the events are occurring... unless that's the joke?

Honestly that serie look like a reverse scenario than CBS and MTL series for leafs...

Where Toronto was controling the puck like they want over and over again but never able to go in dirty area and really creating any kind of offensive... Just taking shot from outside all game long...

Absolutely / Easily? You may absolutely be proven correct. I made my prediction after TB's beat down last night. I have watched Tampa closely enough to know that absolutely and easily should not be words used to describe Florida's dominance over them.

Their series is far from over as long as Vasi doesn't turn into UIlmark. Time will tell.
