They choke/under perform every year in the post season if you choose to look at it with a sense of reality.

They've also been one of the unluckiest teams health wise in tons of those series.

Knock on wood, everyone's in the line-up this time.

We have been really close a number of years but kept tripping over our own feet against good teams. Whether it be playing awful on home ice, our PP not being able to do jack shit or a back breaking goal...we found a way to not get it done right when it was there for the taking.

We've done it to ourselves, but I also think we've also been out-goalied every year. This might be the first time since AM arrived that our goalie is better, just off the top of my head.

It's not just Vasi/Rask/Bob/Swayman. Korpisalo was lights out in the first COVID year (two shutouts in five games, including Game 5), and Price, well, we all know about the 3-1 choke job to the Habs.

I haven't been this confident in a Leaf goaltender in the playoffs since Belfour, and Cujo before him.

Im not even a fan of either team, I live in the region. Sens have done nothing in this city for many years to get the real fans back. Dont blame the fans. The late owner was a complete moron and it will take years to fix that. Likely be in Quebec City by then. Ottawa isnt a big or fun enough of a city for an NHL team.

I think we just played like shit in the 2nd tbh. I don't think it was some kind of strategy to sit back...we got outplayed pretty soundly in that period. We didn't really sit back in the 3rd.

Its plays like that where you cant just look at a teams defence men and claim one or the other has a better "defence".

Leafs forwards are clearly miles ahead of the Sens forwards defensively.

Leafs have gone up early by multiple goals in both games. Anytime the score is within 1 or even the Leafs have dictated the game.
