What's impressed me the most is the full team effort. No one ayer is carrying the team. No one is willing a win. We have goals from our best players (but not our best goal scorer) all the way down to our 5th dman.

What I would like to see in game 3 is a domination that would show me the Leafs can hang with the best. Ottawa is an ok team, but they are not nearly as good as what could come next.

2-0 is a great place to be. I hope the boys see blood and go for the throat, coasting isn't an option at any point, or it could be 2-2 real quick.

Yeah, this team needs for find a next gear to be considered a serious contender for anything. To me, the big difference is we can be up 2-0 while waiting to find that next level. This is what structure, patience, depth, and goaltending can do for you.

The narrative they choke every year is tired and not based on any factuality. The narrative is every year is like the Habs series. Not even close to reality. For example last year the Leafs battled back from being down 3-1. The year before, they won against Tampa in 6 games.

It's a shame Berube has brought the capital B to the leafs game. Boring. No cutesy bs, no oddman rushes against, no nothing! Stolarz is a stud, a rebound machine, but a studd nonetheless. The most stellar goaltending they had for years. They can throw in Woll there without dropping much in quality.

But, getting pinball goals and turtling to a victory can lead you so far. Atleast it's been enough against Ottawa, but I'm not seeing anything special here that would warrant a longer run

We have been really close a number of years but kept tripping over our own feet against good teams. Whether it be playing awful on home ice, our PP not being able to do jack shit or a back breaking goal...we found a way to not get it done right when it was there for the taking.

Turtling to a victory? The tying goal with 5 minutes left was the first shot the Leafs allowed in the entire 3rd period. What are people even watching?

I don't disagree about McMann. But he's been bounced around the lineup a bit. And he's maybe one of the only Leafs that hasn't provided what's expected. Pretty great when the only guy not doing well right now is a middle 6 winger.

Personally I am not a fan of either club. It’s what I see from a non biased lens. The Leafs (sadly) are really good and are playoff hardened. They play a mature game. The Sens have an inexperienced core who play an immature game. I do think this Sens group will get better with more experience but it’s not happening this playoffs, which is why I predicted the Leafs in 4 or 5. But after last nights OT loss I think the Sens might not even get one game.

I always love that double standard. Leafs fans are supposed to sit and take being ridiculed because we "deserve it" but when the team is good we also can't cheer because "this is why fans hate you". Too bad, you don't get to be high school bullies and control what Leaf fans say or do. If Ottawa was up 2-0 right now we'd never hear the end of it. So other fans can sit down shut up and avoid the thread if they can't handle it. We will cheer if we want and you babies can suck it up

They choke/under perform every year in the post season if you choose to look at it with a sense of reality.

My nephew is in Ottawa for school.

He's not a hockey fan at all - but he's texting me things like "I feel like I'm behind enemy lines" "all my class mates and co-workers are all chirping each other".

He's now invested in watching every game lol.
