LA Kings @LAKings
OLD SCHOOL - Kings' original line-up card from Opener in '67 http://******/d/1at3

The 1st and 2nd intermission combined were just 27 minutes.

They didn't mess around back then, and those were before the days of the well conditioned athete.

there's so much amazing here. Just seeing the autograph of Referee Art Skov brings back a flood of memories of his working Ranger games at the Garden when it was a 6 team league.

Also, note the Kings backup goaltender:

One of a handful that dressed for the Kings but never played in a game for them (or in this case, the NHL)

add names like Carl Repp, Alexei Volkov, Darryl Gilmour, Steve Rexe and a few others to that list, but this guy was first!

Fascinating.

Where exactly in Long Beach was this played? I know The Forum didn't open for another few months.

I just noticed the Kings have three players listed as alternate captains (Flyers have two).

Interesting. Guess there really isn't a limit.

No there isn't. Edmonton has Horcoff as Captain, Hall and Eberle as well as Nick Schultz wearing A's.
