Nice to see Alfie back. Excited to see Quincy and XO together, I bet they do well together. Looks like a tough 3rd line, that will be interesting to watch... they should create some havoc for the opposition.

Go Wings!

Sizequeen Babcock keeps Andersson in the lineup. Quel surprise.
I'm gonna miss the next two games... I hate missing Toronto vs Detroit -- but fortunately, we'll have a lot of it this year.
Long Live the Norris Division!

I'm really looking forward to the HBO 24/7. They just started filming yesterday in Detroit according to MLive.

Of course the 2nd line is back intact and I can't watch it on t.v.

I hope they at least show some chemistry.

It should be close to the same lineup tomorrow, right?

Can't wait to finally see them play tomorrow night on CBC :yo:

DeKeyser said he twisted his knee vs. PITT on Wednesday. Nothing significant. Confident he'll be ready for season opener Wednesday.

Ansar Khan ‏@AnsarKhanMLive 2h
Jordin Tootoo (bruised shoulder) skated with some teammates today for the first time since injury on Sept. 19. Will be re-evaluated

Finally two teams that are dressing line-ups relatively close to their actual ones. Although Lashoff on the 2nd pairing is scary.

Jonathan bernier will start tonight in detroit.

Both teams are as close of a full lineup as possible, it should be a close one

Leafs have one of the fastest teams in the league. They are going to absolutely skate circles around that pathetic 3rd line we are rolling out there.

Leafs fan in peace (sort of.)

I just wanted to say welcome to the division. I don't know about on these boards or in general, but I know for me and a lot of my friends Detroit was always the team to root for in the playoffs when were at our worst. I have memories of the Norris/central divisions, but was too young to really hate the Wings. Instead it just made me think of them as a "real" team.

I don't like the idea of having a second team, but when you miss the playoffs for a decade it happens, and mine was Detroit.

So ya, thanks for the awesome series against Pittsburgh, but now I hate you.

Good luck in the east.

Tonight is a perfect example of the downside of switching conferences (for me personally).

The game is on Leafs TV and I don't see the need to purchase a separate channel just for the couple games vs Toronto when I already pay for NHL Center Ice.
