There is way too much evidence we could be here for a couple weeks compiling it all. Generational talent is tossed around way too freely, but not when it's about Sid.

He just does so much more then OV that helps teams win hockey games and he is a winner.

Not to say OV is not a gamer but he is a one dimensional guy and isn't the player crosby is in so many areas.

Ovechkin is a goal scorer, Crosby is a hockey player.

There hasn't been a single dman on either team in this game that's looked good outside Doughty and maybe Vlasic (I can never notice/tell with that guy). Way too many bad passes even from the Canadian dmen where they just toss it for a weak stretch pass that's icing or intercepted. Makes me really wish for Letang/Subban here or a healthy Keith.

Also c'mon Babs game's over play the 4th line a bit.

Weber has been solid, in my opinion.

Adv. stats for this game, Emelin CF% 24.14%, Markov 26.92%. Best Russian D's are Zaitsev (64.52%) and Orlov (55.56%), best Russian forward is Kucherov (52.38% with 33% ozone starts).

Zaitsev being at 64.52% possession against Canada with even zone starts is exceptional.

So? Crosby comes up big a lot more than Ovechkin ever does. That's my point. The discussion between who is better is not really close.

So? Crosby playing against Orlov is different from Ovechkin playing against, let's say, Weber.

Crosby is better than Ovechkin. I don't deny this, but the margin is not as massive as you claim.
