A bruised knee by the ****ing goon Komarov that shouldn't even be in this tournament. He could've ended his career yesterday. 2 minute penalty by the referees.

2 minute penalty for a retaliation.

Ended the career? C'mon.

Problem is that most NA players are so soft and light weight anything may look like a penalty.

Right now it is pretty even, referee has been giving stupid penalties to both teams.
Yup. The penalty on Söderberg for going to the crease is a big fat joke. No way that is called in a Canada - USA game. He didn't even hit him, he just went to the crease and the NA defender lost his balance, crashing into Gibson.

That's a penalty, apparently. That's weak as hell.
Sweden has really bad coaching. They need Mike Keenan
Nope. Swedish players don't like marine sergeants screaming out in the open how they generally should be better. They already know that. They want actual leadership and actual instructions.

If they need Mike Keenan, they could pay me to stand and scream at them in every intermission with little substance, for a 1/20th of the price.

Always looking for something to blame?

NA has played better, simple as that.

In fact, they are so good they could win the entire tournament.

Still believe Sweden will outsmart NA and turn this around though.
Just what I was thinking, technically smarter & Hank is on his game but if they collectively lose their legs any more it's not looking good.

maybe that is what decided the SWE - FIN game..
maybe RUS was tired too when they lost to SWE...

Sorry but every team has had to play back to back.. SWE isnt the only one.

Neither Russia nor Finland was on the backside of a back to back against Sweden?

He's been the best forward on the team, he is constantly creating offense. He slips in and out of coverage so incredibly well. His hockey sense is off the charts, closest thing we will see to a Gretzky like player in this era.

That is the funniest thing i have ever heard lol lol Mcdavid is already better than him and Mcdavid is younger. And the fact you compare this guy to Gretzky in any way at all is even funnier. I don't think any general manager in the league would pick johnny over Mcdavid lol

if Russia beats Finland by 2 and ties Sweden in goal difference, do they take number of goals scored or h2h in that case?

nobody know for sure. There hasn't been a clarification but one would assume they stop using the 3 team tie criteria when it's no longer a 3 team tie. Thus I'd assume they go to h2h.

So then Canada would tie them in goal differential, and then have the h2h tiebreaker of the win, either way Canada goes through with a win in regulation.

If they were still tied after goal differential it would then go to total goals scored.

Which is at. 7 NA, 5 russia, 4 sweden.

So as it stands now with the score 3-2, for sweden to move on they have to hope for russia to lose or win by only 1 goal.

If NA wins this game they will move on no matter thr outcome of the finland/russia game.

Yep. Being saying it for years. Generational vision hockey IQ.

Only based on draft hype.

McDavid has yet to show anything that makes it clear he'll be the better of the two.

That was a very weak call , yes

I hope you are right. If they go by H2H in the case of the goal difference tie, Russia would have to beat Finland by 3 goals.

Gaudreau is comparable to the Gretzky of his era? Yeah, no!!

He is kind of right though. Not in terms of domination (because no one will do that today), but he's a small and skinny forward who is rarely hit and has arguably the best vision and hockey sense in the game. He is insanely good and I think everyone who's been watching this tournament is fully aware of that now if they haven't watched him much before.
