Tie-Breaking Procedure
Tie Between Two Teams
If two teams are tied in points, the tie is broken by the result of the head-to-head game between the two tied teams.

Three- or Four-Way Tie
(Tie-breakers 1-4 calculated based on ALL games played):
1-ROW (Total of regulation and OT wins)
2-Regulation wins (Total of regulation wins only)
3-Goal Differential (Total Goals For minus total Goals Against in all games played)
4-Total Goals Scored (Total Goals For in all games played)


(Tie-breakers 5-6 calculated based on games played between the tied teams only):
5-Goal Differential (Total Goals For minus total Goals Against in games between the tied teams)
6-Total Goals Scored (Total Goals For in games between tied teams)

No that's wrong. If NA loses this game and Russia loses to Finland both in regulation then there's a 3 way tie at 1-2. head to head is not revelant and it goes to goal difference which North America currenbtly has a leg up on. They're +2, Russia is Even, Finland -5

- They lose to Sweden in regulation, Finland beats Russia in regulation, they don't lose to Sweden by 2 more goals than Russia loses to Finland(eg: North America loses 4-1, Russia loses 4-2), and the combined difference of both results is not more than 7(eg: North America loses 3-1, Finland wins 5-0)

So Sweden 3-1, Finland 3-1 or either of those above example as well would see North America through

Did Drouin do something to get relegated down?

Not that I'm complaining, Gaudreau has looked tremendous, especially with Nuge and MacK.
And I'm sure it's a challenge to get all that talent some top 6 equality.

Russia and North America? Then there's a 3 way 2-1 tie with Sweden which also goes to goal difference if both games end in regulation.

if North America win in regulation their goal difference will be better than Sweden's so they'll be in regardless. It would then be up to Russia to score enough to pass Sweden(right now Sweden's GD is 3 ahead)

Sveriges sak är vår! It would make it interesting if Sweden would beat them badly, but I don't think that's likely at all - more like Swedes themselves might be tired having a back to back.
 
Looks like R Murray a gametime decision. NA could go with 5 dmen today. No M Murray in net either.

Huge loss for NA today if R Murray cant play ontop of Ekblad and M Murray.
 
The lack of scoring from Sweden worries me a lot in this game. Game plan must be to slow the game down as much as possible and put hard pressure on their D.
