I would love to see a beating tonight, and then watch Torts' post-game interview. Please make it happen, Crosby and co. In all seriousness, US winning this game isn't unlikely. Canada just has to hold even until the desperation in the first period wears off.

I wonder why anyone thinks Canada's weakness is being physicality. The team is full of tough guys who happy to play a physical game or some even fight. We are not a team that will be taken advantage of physically.
 
Apparently USA only has a 20-25% chance of winning this game..

imo that's too low even with the roster and coaching discrepancies

Americans and their love.for grit, must be due to the taste of their bland beer. Will make anyone grimace like Rambo
 
I can see the American's pulling off the upset tonight.

Which will likely cost them a beating at the hands of the Canadian's down the line.
 
Man Torts is just the worst. Schneider NEEDS to be in net tonight. He is more likely to "steal" this game for us, which might just be our only shot at actually winning.

That would be true some 10-15 years ago. These days there are tons of great american micro breweries


I really really wanna see this game.. but the hours arent very appealing since my kids will probably wake up in about 5 or so hours. Ugh
 
It is just me...or do Yanks always seem to get the last line change vs T-Maple Leaf in Big Games? We were the higher seed in the semis in Sochi and they got it there too?
