whatever, Pittsburgh is playing with a bottom 4 of randomly generated NPCs , and they still get results.
because they’re well coached

Doing things with the cap and stuff like that. I don't have a clear picture either, but technically these moves increase the teams cap when it comes to deadline?
It also takes money out of pockets from these players.
Like I said, I have no idea either and frankly no interest in delving that deep into CBA details. I just thought I read so from another thread or a newspiece somewhere.i dont think it does take away money from the player. From my understanding players paid for each gameday they are on roster and the cap looks at it by each day. Therefore u can manipulate cap, but player still gets paid.
but i could be wrong. And if i am, that is pretty messed up
They don't call him Leech jr. for no reason.incoming Bitetto 4 point night
Won't work, he'll just waive back. Then it will get awkward, yada yada.If Brodzinski plays over Gauthier, Quinn should be put on waivers too.

But what is certain is that these are cap moves one way or another, and Kakko, Miller and Laf (if he ends up in the taxi-squad) are in no danger of not playing. Or who knows with Quinn lol...
Soooo serious question considering everything is being locked and/or deleted based on the normal everyday politics rules that are here for good reason on HF,
when Quinn and maybe JD and gorts address the media about potentially what @Edge shared with the group are we just not supposed to talk about it?
Goes back to my argument a few weeks ago. If politics is forced into the discussion by the actions of one of our players it’s kind of I don’t know naive maybe from trying to stop the fans from discussing what’s happening and why no? This clearly is a Rangers related matter not just random political talk.
at least leaving one thread up on the matter would keep it out of others would be my two cents. Really don’t want to have it dominate the game thread come 530
Book keeping
Any day that Kakko is on the taxi squad saves the Rangers $30,818.97 in cap space.
Probably just shuffling him back and forth and thats why he isnt on the official roster
not our problem, but FYI
Pens probably wouldn't get home in time anyway...
*Edit* Unfortunately that guy got old and has a heart condition.IMO when you have 4 assistants and no captain it’s like saying you have 2 number 1 goalies. . You don’t.
you need THE guy in both cases
Kreider is in the room saying what's on his mind and has been the entire time.Well, I came in to this fine place beating my drum about how the Rangers need a captain. Never more than now, I continued to believe. Why not Kreider, I've speculated. Until I read this: Brooks agrees with me.
I must be mistaken.
While rare, you can run two #1 goalies. I don't if it has been done in the NHL, but it has been done in hockey. My team TPS (where Kakko played obviously) won the Finnish championship in 2010 that way. The tandem of Atten Engren and David Leggio split the regular season of 60 games, then Engren played 8 playoff home games, Leggio 7 playoff away games as we won the championship with 4-0, 4-2 and 4-1 series.IMO when you have 4 assistants and no captain it’s like saying you have 2 number 1 goalies. . That said, yes the team could use a captain and a #1 goalie. The latter one should be clear.
