If all goes to plan. 7-1 or 7-0 shellacking by the Rangers.
Kreider
KAM
Panarin
Laf
Kakko

with goals.

We need a healing game of hockey. 50 SOG and a blowout win.

As long as Jack Johnson is not playing, I am somewhat content.

KAM NEEDS to be on the PP. He's perfect for the right dot and move Panarin back to the left dot.

It'd be interesting, I wonder if they will go with another blueliner on PP1 or if Strome will rotate back in. My money is on the latter.

While Winnipeg used Bitetto sparingly at even strength last year, he was one of their leading defensemen in PK TOI/game. His time in Nashville on the other hand, they used him at special teams almost never. Probably a reflection of the gap in defensive quality between those two teams.

That said, with ADA gone, we now have 6 defenseman that the coach can trust on the kill.

Right around 10 ES minutes for Bitetto-Smith, with maybe 2 mins on the PK per game should be their regular usage at max.

Disappointed to see a talented played saddle himself up. I believe that this is the right move. My gut feeling about the first couple of games were a little off, we got the A/B in early, and to me it was very clear that this was probably for the best. I've had my concerns, and frankly experienced similar work environments with some of my past clients. It's never conducive towards meeting your goals. You're always having to deal with a reflex. COVID lockdown's aren't helping, at least with the outdoors you have some form of distraction that isn't on a screen.

I don't want to disparage anyone, but this was a workplace challenge that creates a cultural issue out of really... nothing of value add to hockey. Tony isn't alone in this behavior, there are a lot of individuals out there, today, who have befallen to the same ails of an unhealthy social media diet.

Kudos to @Edge on the story. You should have your own blog dude.

From what I’ve seen since yesterday PP1 will be

kreider Mika Panarin Buchnevich Fox

I dig it.

Lafreniere-Strome-Kakko
Miller-Trouba

Could be a solid 2nd. Kind of lowkey stoked to see what Miller can do on the PP

thats fine even though I'd argue a better shooter/finisher would be better suited in Buch's spot. but Buch has deserved it.

It's criminal that we have not seen KAM shoot on the PP yet. I'm confident he has the best shot on the team. His wrist shot is also stupid. its just a flickofdawrist but the puck screams

4 hours from puck drop if the game hasn’t been cancelled by now it’s probably not going to be. Some guys would normally already be there

that might be pushing the top4 but who cares at this point. only 40 some odd games left.

I want players with a future on this team to get the maximum possible ice time

I just think with uncertainty of Covid, the fact that there are no fans in attendance, Pitt has been in NYC anyway and dont have to travel since their next game is in NJ on Thursday, they will want to get the game in.
