Look I’m not defending Tony D at all but I did think it was BS to scratch him after that first game UNLESS something else happened in the locker room we don’t know about. Either way Tony obviously has anger issues. I bear no ill will toward him and hope he gets his anger issues under control.

I'm not military, but in my experience championship teams have a more empathetic version of a militaristic system and clear hierarchy is an important piece. Either JD disagrees or the Rangers don't have the right guy wearing a sweater. One thing is certain, this leadership by committee of alternates is not working.

My man, how many opportunities did they have to give this guy? We both know Tony getting scratched wasn't just about the penalty he took. If he was pissed about getting scratched he should have come back the next time he was in the lineup like a man on fire. And maybe show the coaching staff he learned from the experience.

Its not about being angry that you're scratched, its about being able to channel that anger properly. Given how Tony channeled his anger on saturday after the game, he clearly has a lot of issues with that.
