Is Rodrigues really going to be with Sid? And is Boyle really playing ahead of someone like Simon?

Because putting Simon in for Boyle and playing him next to Sid and Jake, and putting Rodrigues at 4C between O'Connor and Heinen seems to make more sense.

Sullivan's desire to keep Rodrigues on a scoring line is at war with his desire to staple Simon to Crosby's wing whenever he gets a chance.

Sullivan's desire to keep Rodrigues on a scoring line is at war with his desire to staple Simon to Crosby's wing whenever he gets a chance.

I'd much rather take Simon > Rodrigues on that top line for the short term, tbh. Of course, it'd be better to put Kap there and break up Kap/Zucker, but if we did that, we'd have to revisit the idea of our previously agreed-upon duos, and that's simply not possible.

It's still pretty cool that the 3rd line is allowed 4 players with Aston-Reese-Blueger-and McGinn.

That should be a huge advantage.

I'd swap Kap and Heinen, but I'm okay with that too. I just don't like Zuck - Cart - Kap and I don't think it's going to be super-effective but maybe I'll be surprised for once.
