Post-Game Talk: #75 | Sabres at Flyers | April 1, 2023

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Do you think Frost is a 2C on a top 10 team?
There are some 2c's Frost has no shot to match output.

Hughes Malkin Leon. Tavaras. Frost is never going to be those players. We are all realists here hopefully.

Now are you asking can Frost be the 3rd player on a line 2 on a top 10 team? ABSOLUTELY!

But ideally? High end 3c.

So we should keep Lemieux and Seeler according to that card?

JVR, Hayes, Provorov are history. We've known that.
TK picks up where he left off, saw he played some LW. Hmmm.

This should have been the first year of a rebuild, but Scott/Chuckie/Clarke weren't ready to bite the bullet.
So this summer will begin the begin.

Morgan Frost hit his magic target of 40 points. A successful season for him, right @Ghosts Beer?
It means he met the reasonable floor of expectations that I set for him.

And it makes a mockery of the legion of posters who shrieked that 40 points was an outlandish request made to set him up for failure.

What????

That legion of posters were proven right. It took Frost getting 2C usage that he only got thanks to injury to reach that mark. You expected him to hit that point with 3C usage, which would not have happened.

He’s been a 60 point pace player over his last 51 games. With a horrific PP, where he’s brutally misused, and without ever playing with Konecny, and while progressing as a play driver.

Dark times.

Coaches and management thought he was an AHLer and kept him there until injuries forced giving him a chance.

Oh hey almost every one of those idiots are still making decisions.
