I think Buch stepped up his game. Will see how he handles tonights game. I think he is ready to start producing more now, especially since kreider is out. He’s like a volcano ready to erupt.

I would also like to see more of Kakko we saw before the start of the season, his response to scoring the overtime goal in traverse city and saying “don’t pass the puck...” The rangers need to shoot more on the net and go for the rebounds. To manny passes and missed opportunities this season, not to mention a lot of shots missing the net. Just go for the pads, crash the net, and look for rebounds. Maybe we might also get lucky and get a puck bounce off a player and into the opponents net.

Lets be realistic about a playoff run. They have played very well since the all star break and have exceeded expectations. Now without Igor and Chris and tougher opponents in a playoff race do not be surprised if the wheels come off. Odds are below .500 rest of the way with some lopsided losses. We don't have the horses.

Totally agree. Without Kreider we have a gaping hole up front. There is just nobody to replace him. I am not expecting them to make the playoffs but I am expecting them to play hard and compete every night. This is ok though. We were not beating Boston or Washington in the first round anyway. This team is positioned well and has another 2 1st rounders. I think this team will be a contender in 2 years.
